David Justice is an American former professional baseball player who played for several teams in Major League Baseball (MLB). David Justice’s Early Life
David Richard Justice was born on April 14, 1966 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Covington Catholic High School where he played baseball, basketball, and football. After high school, he attended Thomas More College and played baseball for the school. He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 4th round of the 1985 MLB Draft.
David Justice’s MLB Career
Justice made his major league debut with the Braves in 1989. He quickly established himself as one of the best young players in the league, winning the National League Rookie of the Year Award in 1990. He was named an All-Star for the first time in 1993, and was named to the All-Star team four more times during his career. He was traded to the Cleveland Indians in 1997, and then to the New York Yankees in 2000. He was an integral part of the Yankees’ World Series championship team in 2000. He finished his career with the Oakland Athletics in 2002.
